The liberal establishment is in free fall.
And good riddance to it.
If you’ve ever asked yourself why seemingly every major Western country has decided to embrace the same suicidal ideas - multiculturalism, a fanatical obsession with diversity, political correctness, a clamour for censorship, and toleration of lawlessness - the answer can be found in the liberal establishment.
Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, a liberal consensus emerged among our political and media elite. Many believed that liberalism had won, that the end of history was near, and it was only a matter of time before the rest of the world became enlightened liberal democracies just like the West. This liberal consensus gave way to the aforementioned series of poisonous ideas that have corroded our civilisation to this day.
Most damaging of all these ideas has been “the blank slate” - the idea that all individuals are all the same deep down, despite differences in culture and that differences in ideology can be rectified through a liberal education system. This dangerous delusion is endemic across the political establishment, even on the ostensible "right.”
In the eyes of the liberal establishment, a man from Afghanistan can become as English as a descendant of the Battle of Hastings, provided the man from Afghanistan accepts bland liberal platitudes like belief in democracy and tolerance. Simple scrutiny dismantles this delusion. King Henry VIII neither believed in democracy nor was particularly tolerant, so according to liberal dogma, a man from Afghanistan who is tolerant and believes in democracy is more English than King Henry VIII. Such a proposition is so utterly absurd that it should not be taken seriously.
Thanks to the blank slate, the liberal establishment sees everyone as the same, just pure economic units on a spreadsheet. They would have no issue if Britain’s population were made up entirely of Somalis, provided the GDP continued flowing. That’s why liberal mouthpieces like the Economist freak out at the mere suggestion of mass deportations in Britain - they see no issue with hundreds of thousands of military-age males from the most violent and radical regions of the world entering Britain illegally.
A combination of this blank slate delusion and a fervent desire for cheap labour caused the liberal establishment to unleash tidal waves of migration into the West.
Between 1997 and 2010, net migration to the United Kingdom rose from roughly 50,000 per year to over 200,000. This was not accidental. Andrew Neather, a former speechwriter and adviser to Tony Blair, admitted in a 2009 article in the Evening Standard that the Blair government had deliberately opened the doors to mass immigration partly to "rub the Right's nose in diversity." The policy, he wrote, was designed to make Britain "truly multicultural" — and crucially, the government had "kept quiet" about the policy's scale for fear of a public backlash.
In Germany, Angela Merkel unilaterally suspended the Dublin Regulation in 2015 and admitted over a million migrants in a single year, without a parliamentary vote, without a referendum, without any meaningful public debate. When the German public expressed reasonable concerns, they were called racist. Similar policies were enacted across Europe as tidal waves of migrants from the Middle East and Africa entered Europe.
These migration policies would have truly horrific concequences for the people of Europe, not that the liberal establishment would care naturally.
In Britain, the Pakistani rape gangs represent perhaps the most damning indictment of what happens when a worship of diversity is placed above the safety of children. One thirteen-year-old girl was raped 600-700 times across three years. A survivor had a gun held to her head, was beaten so badly she was covered “head to toe in bruises,” and had a knife held to her throat so she would “sort out 10,15 cars full of men.” White girls were drugged and put in dog cages. A 16-year-old girl was raped by 100 different men. The gangs raped the girls with Coca-Cola bottles, keys and even a baseball bat. One survivor saw her friend have a knife held to her throat while she was being raped. Another was beaten “black and blue” and was raped by physical objects alongside the men themselves.
Murder was rarer but still occurred. A fifteen-year-old girl remembered walking into a rapist’s flat and seeing a dead girl in the bath. There was one specific park where hundreds of girls were groomed and raped.Like drug rings, the rape gangs operated as a network in cities like Derby, Birmingham, Sheffield and others. British women had their children kidnapped and were likely taken as sex slaves somewhere in the Middle East.
You might be asking how the government allowed these rape gangs to go on for years, even decades. The answer is that the blank slate ideology of the liberal establishment created the conditions where such atrocities could occur.
A survivor described the rape gangs as “untouchable” because nobody “wants to be deemed a racist” by openly acknowledging the problem exists and doing something about it. This is reinforced in the Jay and Louise Casey reports, which explain why whistleblowers didn’t come forward sooner with knowledge of the abuse, because “you couldn’t bring up race issues in meetings … or you would be branded a racist.” The liberal establishment sacrificed these poor white english girls at the altar of diversity.
In Germany, New Year's Eve 2015 brought a different horror to the streets of Cologne. In a single night, 1,252 women reported incidents of sexual assault and theft to police, with 492 reporting sexual assault specifically. The perpetrators were described overwhelmingly by victims and witnesses as North African and Arab men,and the Federal Criminal Police Office later confirmed that the attackers came from cultures where group sexual assault against women was common practice. Official German crime statistics recorded that the share of sexual assaults with immigrant suspects had risen from 1.8 percent in 2012 to 9.1 percent in 2016,a period that corresponded precisely with the mass migration of 2015.
And across Europe, the terrorism did not stop at the well-documented attacks of 2015-2017. It became a persistent background condition of life: truck attacks, knife attacks, beheadings, mass stabbings, each one met with the same ritual denouncations and messages of solidarity but no acknowledgement of the policies that caused them.
The liberal establishment had imported all of this. It called those who raised the alarm bell, racists. And when the consequences arrived, in the screams of children in Rotherham, in the blood on the streets of Nice and Paris, in the severed head of Samuel Paty, the liberal establishment responded not with reflection but with yet more demands that the public simply not notice.
The liberal Establishment had decided that the liberal experiment would proceed, regardless of either the horrific concequences or whether the populations of the West approved, and spoiler, they did not.
In 2016, Donald Trump swept into the presidency on an anti immigration platform. In the same year Britain voted to leave the EU, with immigration being a key concern for those who voted to leave. These political revolts should have alerted the liberal establishment about the disastrous consequences that the liberal experiment was having. But rather than pause and reflect, or engage with those who disagreed with them, the liberal establishment doubled down.
Hillary Clinton infamously described half of Trump’s supporters - millions of ordinary American voters - as belonging in “a basket of deplorables, characterised by racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic views.” Scientist Richard Dawkins described the Brexit Leave vote as "a slender majority of an ignorant and misled public.” Baroness King argued in the Huffington Post that "many British people, possibly the majority, were unaware of the far-reaching consequences" of their own vote. In a parliamentary debate, Green Party leader Caroline Lucas declared that "people didn't know what they were voting for." The idea that years of uncontrolled immigration, unwanted cultural change and a desire for sovereignty in the case of Brexit, drove Trump to power and caused Brexit, was unfathomable to the liberal elite class. No, they had decided that the voters were too stupid for their own good.
It’s not a coincidence that voters for Trump and Brexit alike generally came from working-class communities who had been left behind by the liberal experiment. Deindustrialisation in the name of net zero destroyed economic prospects. Wages were suppressed by mass migration. Towns and cities become unrecognisable with large parts resembling Pakistan and other foreign cultures. To give one example, only 7.9% of Handsworth South in Birmingham are native white English, while 63.8% are “Asian,” in this case being primarily from Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. The voters who voted against this liberal experiment did not do so out of ignorance. It was a verdict on the unwanted changes they had seen as a direct result of it.
And so, rather than heed the alarm bells of 2016, the liberal establishment chose escalation. Racial discrimination against white people in the name of diversity skyrocketed. Censorship against right-wing views on college campuses. Only a year after the Brexit referendum, Tony Blair was already vowing to reverse it. The liberal establishment refused to abandon or even moderate the liberal project, despite it being so evidently unpopular with vast swathes of Western populations.
After taking office, President Joe Biden halted construction of the border wall, ended the Remain in Mexico policy and cut down on border security. Biden’s DHS Secretary Mayorkas declared that, “For the first time ever, our policy explicitly states that a non-citizen's unlawful presence in the United States will not, by itself, be a basis for the initiation of an enforcement action" — which he called "a profound change.” The result of this effective legalisation of illegal migration was unprecedented. The administration recorded 8.6 million migrant encounters at the US-Mexico border, including record annual numbers in 2022 and 2023. It paroled in or otherwise admitted 5.8 million asylum seekers and other migrants who did not have prior authorisation to enter the United States.
Despite the British public voting for Brexit in large part to cut immigration, under “Conservative” governments, immigration only skyrocketed. In 2022, net migration in Britain was 606,000, almost double the pre-Brexit level. In 2023, net migration peaked at 906,000 in the year ending June 2023. This is nearly four times the level when the Conservatives took office in 2010, when they were already promising to cut migration. In addition, illegal migration increased with 28,500 illegals in 2021, 45,800 in 2022, 29,400 in 2023 and 36,800 in 2024. These illegals lived at the taxpayers’ expense, and many of whom committed horrific crimes against British people.
In 2024 the European Union adopted a new pact on Migration and Asylum in April/May of 2024. It was meant to resolve the issue of illegal migration but instead merely provided weak window dressing at best. As researcher Gerald Knaus concluded in 2024, the pact was unlikely to lead to any significant reduction in illegal migration into Europe, thus failing to address the issue at all. Countries like Poland, Slovakia and Hungary which resisted the pact were threatened with legal action by the EU commission. Despite the populations of those countries having elected governments on promises of migration reductions, the unelected and unaccountable European Court of Justice would force these countries to comply or face concequences. Keep that in mind the next time you hear a liberal mouthpiece call a right wing party a “threat to democracy.”
Of course the populations of Europe strongly dislike the EU’s permissive approach to migration. An exclusive Euronews/Ipsos poll of almost 26,000 respondents across 18 member states in March 2024 found that 51% of Europeans had a "negative" assessment of the EU's impact on migration policy, while only 16% had a positive view. It was the most negatively rated of all six policy areas examined, more disapproved of the EU's migration record than its handling of COVID-19 or Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Furthermore, 71% of respondents said that strengthening border controls to combat irregular migration should be the main focus in the coming years.
Despite the alarm bells ringing in 2016, the liberal establishment chose escalation and now the chickens are coming home to roost.
The June 2024 European Parliament elections delivered the most comprehensive verdict yet on three decades of liberal migration policy. Right-wing parties won outright in five member states,France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, and Hungary, and made significant gains across the rest of the bloc. The scale of the shift was unmistakable. In Germany, the AfD came second, ahead of Chancellor Olaf Scholz's Social Democrats. In Austria, the Freedom Party topped the poll with 25.7 percent, the first time in its history it had emerged as the strongest force in a nationwide election. In France, Marine Le Pen's National Rally won the popular vote at 31.4 percent. In Italy, Giorgia Meloni's Brothers of Italy won nearly 30 percent, more than four times its vote share at the previous European elections in 2019.
In the May 2025 British local and regional elections, Reform delivered a historic drubbing to Labour, shedding hundreds of Labour councillors across England and winning control of multiple councils. In Wales, Labour lost power for the first time, with Reform finishing second. Farage called it "a truly historic shift in British politics." By September 2025, an Electoral Calculus MRP poll placed Reform UK on 36 percent, ahead of Labour on 21 percent and the Conservatives on 15 percent, projecting a Reform majority government of 84 seats if an election were held.
In November 2024, Donald Trump won the American presidency for the second time on a platform of mass deportations, and the result was far more emphatic than the 2016 victory. Trump won the popular vote with 49.8 percent to Kamala Harris's 48.3 percent, the first time he had won the national popular vote in three attempts. He swept every battleground state, and by wider margins than any closely contested presidential election this century. The liberal establishment that had spent eight years insisting that Trumpism was an aberration, a fluke, a product of Russian interference, a basket of deplorables that would dissolve once voters came to their senses. Now the same liberal establishment was left to contemplate a verdict that brooked no such excuses.
Trump's coalition was more racially diverse than in either of his previous campaigns. Among Hispanic voters he reached near-parity, winning 48 percent against Harris's 51 percent, compared to losing them 61-36 in 2020. He won 15 percent of Black voters, almost double his 2020 share. The narrative that Trump's appeal was rooted in white racial grievance, repeated by the liberal media as though it were established fact collided headfirst with an electorate that refused to conform to it. Immigration and border security was the second most cited issue among voters, and Trump held his greatest trust advantage over Harris on that question.
In response to being repeatedly defeated at the ballot box, the liberal establishment chose to reflect on why they are being rejected in favour of parties that in some cases were largely unknown a decade ago. Just kidding, they instead reached for instruments of suppression.
In France, the most brazen example was the conviction and political elimination of Marine Le Pen, the woman polling consistently as the frontrunner for the 2027 presidency, and therefore the greatest threat to the establishment's continued grip on power. In March 2025, a Paris court found Le Pen guilty of embezzlement, specifically, using EU parliamentary funds to pay party staff, and sentenced her to four years in prison and a five-year ban from public office, effective immediately, rendering her ineligible for the next presidential election. The judge explicitly stated that the court had weighed "the major disturbance of public order" of a likely presidential candidate being banned from running,an extraordinary admission that the sentencing was calibrated around political consequences rather than legal principle alone. Le Pen described the ruling as “political,” aimed at preventing her from running. With the 2027 election approaching and the RN the largest party in the French parliament , its hard to disagree with her characterisation.
In Germany, the establishment's response to the AfD doubling its vote share and becoming the country's most popular party was not democratic engagement but bureaucratic blacklisting In May 2025, Germany's Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution officially declared the AfD a confirmed extremist organisation, with senior SPD politicians immediately calling for proceedings to ban it outright. If this ban occured it would remove from electoral competition the party that had just won the support of one in five German voters. Thats not democracy, thats authoritarianism dressed up as “protecting democracy.”
Across the continent, the EU's Digital Services Act provided the institutional machinery for censorship.. The DSA requires platforms to remove content deemed "hate speech" or "disinformation," with fines of up to 6 percent of global turnover for non-compliance. When Elon Musk's X announced an interview with Donald Trump in August 2024, the EU's then-Commissioner Thierry Breton wrote to Musk directly, warning him of "ongoing formal proceedings" and his legal obligations under the DSA, a message widely read as a threat to suppress a political interview.
In Britain, over 12,000 citizens were arrested in 2023 for social media activity, twice the figure for Belarus, whose president is routinely described as Europe's last dictator. In the same period, Germany arrested 3,500 people for similar offences, more than twice China's figure, despite China having a population seventeen times larger.
The good news however is that the liberal establishment is doomed. The truth about the diastrous effects of the liberal experiment is seeping through the establishments barriers of censorship. It is now only a question of when not if, the liberal establishment recieves the electoral oblivion in the West that it so deserves.
Thanks for reading.

Apparently the largest influx of illegal migrants is in lorries not dinghies or boats. These apparently come in completely unnoticed and unrecorded. They all need to go
Very well written, it sums up the situation we find ourselves in and shows how the Liberal elite hate working class people because we voted for Brexit and Trump. Brexit has been sabotaged by the mainstream politicians so they can say it's a failure.
